However, you can also use this Instructable as a step-by-step guide if you want to just practice CAM without using your own designs yet. The steps in this Instructable will offer a good overall foundation for machining strategies that you can apply to your own designs. You will need to have a basic understanding of parametric modeling in Inventor, so if you've never done this before, try out some tutorials to learn the basics.
